The Still Point

Sandhya, i finally figured out the password for my blog! Actually, it didn't need any effort, just common sense and a little bit of memory power...lol!

Its been long since i've posted something, 'long' being an understatement... I've chosen to post the true meaning of what i believe in a 'still point', after this period of hibernation.

I believe that at every point in life, thoughts are in continuous generation within a person's mind. That's what keeps him alive and active. Without thoughts, ideas, dreams, nightmares, etc, our mind would be in a void... in short, idle. For these thoughts to surface and take a form in reality, it requires a moment of stillness, when the mind, body and soul can actually feel the meaning and depth of it, irrespective of how significant or insignificant it might be. And this point is what i call a 'Still Point'. In any circumstance, when a decision has to be taken, the void fills up.

Sometimes, we need to acknowledge how well our mind works, conscious, semi-conscious or unconscious... To feel a thousand emotions from time to time is easy to show, but difficult to understand. When we see an ocean, we are amazed at its gargantuan existence, but do not acknowledge the existence of the tiny innumerable droplets of water that make it the way it is. Why should the mind be so different? A billion... no, a gazillion thoughts might've entered our minds, even more if possible, but every thought is important in building a person's identity and personality...His very character. And that, my dear reader, is why we have a Still Point... To reflect what the mind thinks and understand its true (could be real or fiction) thinking is all i attempt to do.

Even a stray of thought is enough to mark the beginning of a new revolution. Why deprive the universe of it?
